Big Pocono Ski Area is a historic, non-operational ski area in Pennsylvania, United States. Ski operations are not active. Big Pocono, in Big Pocono State Park near Tannersville, Pennsylvania, operated a rope-tow ski area in the early 1950s that was wiped out by flooding from Hurricanes Connie and Diane in 1955. Only tow remnants remain; it is now a former (lost) ski area within the state park.
