Bluemont was a ski area in the hills of Yorkshire, New York, started as Blue Mountain in 1959 and renamed Bluemont in 1968; it operated through 1979 before closing due to lack of snow and funds. New York State purchased the land in 2024 and it is now Blue Hill State Forest, open for hiking and ski touring.
