About
Diamond Hill is a historic, non-operational ski area in Rhode Island, United States. Ski operations are not active. Diamond Hill in Cumberland, Rhode Island, is a former ski area where downhill skiing dated to the 1930s and rope tows arrived in the early 1940s, with a double chairlift added in 1970 (also operating as Ski Valley USA). Warm winters forced its closure in the early 1980s, and in 1997 the town acquired the land; it is now a 373-acre town park and trailhead for the Warner Trail.
