About

Mont Orignal is a ski hill at Lac-Etchemin in the Chaudiere-Appalaches region of Quebec, about 60 miles south of Quebec City. Three lifts serve 25 trails across 110 acres and a 984 foot vertical, with snowmaking on the whole hill and 11 runs lit at night. In 1991 it took delivery of the world's first detachable six-passenger chairlift, built by Doppelmayr.
