Mt Agamenticus is a historic, non-operational ski area in Maine, United States. Ski operations are not active. Mount Agamenticus, known as "The Big A," was a ski area on the northeast flank of the mountain in York, Maine, operating from 1966 to 1974 with nine trails, a 500-foot vertical drop, snowmaking, night skiing and a summit lodge. Skiing has long since ended and the mountain is now a conservation park reservation popular for hiking and hawk-watching.
