About
Oregon Ridge is a historic, non-operational ski area in Maryland, United States. Ski operations are not active. Oregon Ridge near Cockeysville, Maryland, was a downhill ski area opened in the early-to-mid 1960s with a double chairlift, rope tows, snowmaking and night skiing, and a lodge built in 1964. It operated only a few years and closed in the late 1960s as warm temperatures and snowmaking costs made it impractical; the site is now Oregon Ridge Park.
