About

The mountain rises from a 650-foot base to a 1,350-foot summit, a 700-foot vertical drop, spread across 23 trails and two terrain parks served by a high-speed quad and several double chairs, with 100 percent snowmaking. Family-owned since developer Karl Hope cut the first four trails in 1974, it briefly owned Maine's Pleasant Mountain (renamed Shawnee Peak) from 1988 to 1994.
