About
Sky Valley Resort is a historic, non-operational ski area in Georgia, United States. Ski operations are not active. Sky Valley was a ski area in the mountains of northeast Georgia that opened in 1969 as the southernmost ski resort in the United States and the only one in the state. After a 2004 ownership change its five slopes were closed for good after about 35 years; the former lodge became a church and the property is now Sky Valley Country Club, focused on golf.
